The dupilumab biosimilar marks Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s full-fledged entry into the biosimilar sector as a key long-term growth engine. Referencing Dupixent, one of the world’s best-selling biologics co-developed by Sanofi and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, the program targets a rapidly expanding global immunology market driven by increasing demand for therapies treating atopic dermatitis and other Type 2 inflammatory diseases.
